The Oyster Mangrove is a virtual publication project and discussion space for artists with works in progress curated by Dana Deanna Livermore and Amanda Gaye Smith. Collaborators welcome. To submit work, essays, poems, video, artwork, and/or thoughts please send up to five “pieces” to theoystermangrove@gmail.com. What a fun publication! I enjoyed reading the short essay penned by Amanda Gaye Smith. Wow! It is expressive and appropros of, well, oyster-related cogitation. The schematic diagram of the oyster is interesting–it puts me in mind of Diagram Magazine as edited Ander Monson of Michigan Press.
